In occasion of the International Anti-corruption Day 2017, the partners of the European Project ACTS, in collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Economy and the International Chamber of Commerce in Belgium organized the event "Supporting SMEs against corruption", to discuss with EU insitutions and  stakeholders the tools and actions to be taken from European SMEs to prevent corrution.

In the frame of the Project, it was realised the brochure on the promising parctices of Chamber of Commerce & industry ansd NGOs around Europe.

Chamber of Commerce & industry play a special role in supporting businesses to protect themselves from corruption. In the framework of the ACTS project, EUROCHMBRES identified a range of anti-corruption initiatives of European Chambers of Commerce and NGOs in different sectors:

  • protecting good governance;
  • training businesses and students;
  • ensuring good conduct in foreign transaction;
  • enhancing transparency in public procurement.
